Universidad Complutense Madrid, Faculty of Law Av. Seneca 2 28040 Madrid, Spain

The Complutense University strives to nurture quality in many ways. Central is its highly qualified teaching and research staff. The efforts also include exchange agreements with universities throughout the world that allow students to undertake part of their studies in schools in the United States, Europe, Latin America, Australia, or Japan. The Complutense Law School is the largest school of law in Spain and hosts the most important department in Spain specialized in law and religion issues.

Prof. Javier Martínez-Torrón will be a member of WP5, The Public Space. He will work especially on civil society organisations, understood —from the perspective of RELIGARE — as a sort of social tissue that acts as a link between the public and the private spheres, with a particular focus on private education institutions.
